KIM PAUWELS, LLP
Kim strives to help her clients become empowered in their lives in order to achieve their personal goals and face life challenges in a healthy way. She believes this involves discovering those beliefs, feelings and behaviors that get in the way of those goals and then facilitating change of those impediments to her client's contentment and fulfillment. A particular interest of Kim's is working with children and adolescents, families and children that have been involved in foster care and adoption, and individuals experiencing grief and loss. In addition, Kim is an experienced Christian counselor and uses a biblically-based counseling approach with any client that seeks faith-based counseling.
Kim received her Bachelor's Degree from Wayne State University. A major focus of her studies was developmental psychology. She did her graduate work at Michigan Theological Seminary in Plymouth (now Moody Theological Seminary) and received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. Kim's past experience includes working with children for over 25 years in child care, private homes, and the education system. Her work as a Limited Licensed Psychologist includes working with families and children involved in Child Protective Services, high risk assessment, and clinical practice with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She also spent a year teaching English to pre-school and elementary age children in South Korea in 2010.

CHARLES MCGEE, LLMSW
Charles McGee, LLMSW, CADC, is a highly qualified psychotherapist with a rich background in mental health and addiction counseling. Holding a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, he is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental health and well-being.
Charles specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), employing evidence-based techniques to assist clients in identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors. His expertise extends to addiction counseling, holding the designation of Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC). In this capacity, Charles is adept at supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, providing guidance and strategies to overcome substance use challenges.
Recognizing the profound impact of trauma on mental health, Charles is also well-versed in trauma therapy. He employs trauma-informed approaches to help clients process and heal from past traumatic experiences, fostering resilience and personal growth.
In addition to his focus on individual therapy, Charles is skilled in couples therapy. Drawing from various therapeutic modalities, he works collaboratively with couples to enhance communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges effectively.

ANGELA NICHOLLS, LLMSW
Angela Nicholls, LLMSW is a qualified psychotherapist who earned a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from
Michigan State University.
Angela Nicholls, LLMSW is an experienced psychotherapist with a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. She received her degree in 2020. Beforehand, she received her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Baker College, 2018.
While in grad school she completed an internship at Rose Hill Center located in Holly, MI where she engaged in therapeutic conversations with clients experiencing mental health conditions: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and autism spectrum disorder. With treatment methodology aimed at meeting personalized goals, clients were able to overcome being marginalized and live normalized lives through managing their afflictions. She comes from a family background of persistent mental health conditions; which allowed her to gain a wealth of knowledge regarding human behavior.
As a psychotherapist, Angela offers a non-judgmental place for persons to share their struggles, find meaning of life experiences, and set attainable treatment goals. Angela believes that each individual is the expert in their own life. She works with a client-centered, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to have providence over their own lives. Ultimately, her goal is to help clients manage how to overcome life’s challenges.
She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss.
